Looking for a Part-time nanny for 3 month old girl. I will be working remotely most days. Position is for Mo-Fr; 8am-1pm. Ideally to start early July. Our 4 yo boy is in daycare all day. Also have a French Bulldog so must be comfortable with pets.

A little bit about us

We’re looking for a caring and experienced nanny (males included) for our 7-year-old son, Townes, who has autism with a Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile. Don't let those words scare you- he's an incredible kid who is smart, kind and curious! He can be a little bit shy and reserved at times but he’s sharp and social and loves to share what he knows! Townes has many strengths including being curious and interested in learning. He is sweet and kind, and can be silly and goofy. He is attached to us (his parents) and usually enjoys his siblings😉 Townes gets along easily with peers. He knows a lot of information about many subjects (loves animals) and he loves to share facts and knowledge with others!

The ideal candidate will have experience with children who have nervous system disabilities and ideally a trauma-informed approach.

Responsibilities:
-Provide supportive and attentive care tailored to Townes’ needs, respecting his desire for independence.
-Assist with 1st-grade homeschool tasks, adapting educational activities to his learning style.
-Build a trusting relationship with Townes, understanding that he may need time to warm up.
-Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities and day trips to foster exploration and enjoyment.
-Work collaboratively with our family, as both parents work from home and will be available during your shifts.

Qualifications:
-Experience with autism and PDA or similar profiles.
-Trauma-informed approach and understanding of sensory processing.
-Ability to support Townes’ independence and educational needs.
-Experience in homeschooling or primary education is a plus.
-Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with a cautious child.
-Enthusiasm for planning and participating in engaging activities.
