A family in Phoenix, AZ 85018 is seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced nanny / family
assistant to primarily care for their 20-month-old son, with occasional engagement
alongside their 9-year-old daughter. This role focuses on attentive childcare, structured
learning and play, and light household support during downtime.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Start date: June 2026
Family Specifications:
Smoke free home
Multi-lingual family environment
Both parents work from home part of the week
Family vehicle available if transportation is needed
Occasional transportation for children may be needed (details to be discussed with
candidates)
Primary care is for a happy, active toddler, with occasional sibling engagement
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive care for a 20-month-old child
Create engaging, developmentally appropriate activities and structured play
Support nap routines and daily structure
Meal prep / feeding support for the child
Light household support during nap/downtime (laundry folding, dishwasher
loading/unloading, tidying, home organization)
Occasional sibling engagement and outdoor play such as park outings with both children
Occasional transportation for the older child to activities (2–3 miles from home, family
vehicle may be provided)
Requirements:
Experience in childcare / early childhood education preferred
Experience creating structured learning or mindful play activities
CPR / First Aid preferred
Positive, kind, dependable, and proactive
Comfortable working in a home environment with family support needs

Nanny must be comfortable helping with homework and helping reinforce structure through cleaning up, chores, and extracurricular activities. We want a candidate that is competent and punctual, having the energy to keep up with our children's energy, someone who can find creative ways to keep them busy in constructive ways, who is creative in redirecting and de-escalating, who is good at time management, who are not only honest but also has great patience, and can work harmoniously with others. We are also looking for a candidate willing to accompany us on vacations and outings. Pay is negotiable. Looking for immediate start candidates.

We are located on 28th street and Thunderbird road.
We are looking for 1 day a week right now- Wednesdays. Hours could be somewhat flexible but ideally- 9 am- 2:30 pm. I can offer additional days but the Wednesday would be consistent.
Summer hours would include 3 year old ( 4 in July) more often. We do have 2 dogs ( 1 big , one little) who are friendly but they are crazy! We are looking for someone who can stay long term.
Light housework is needed especially picking up toys off the floor, -dishes, keeping kids rooms and playroom tidy , only kids laundry will need to be put away, light vacuum, stocking diapers, wiping down counters, etc. However, the kids always come first.
