A little bit about us

Hello! We’re now looking for someone for date nights and a few people to be available for back up care. The care is mainly for our 2 year old son, Caleb- my 6 year old daughter is is in school most of the day.

Caleb was diagnosed with autism at 18 months of age, he has mild symptoms- mainly a delay in language, but otherwise is a very social and silly boy that has met all his other milestones. He goes to ABA therapy M-F 9-4:30, but there have been a few instances when they call to tell us that his therapist is out and they don’t have a fill in, which leaves me without child care at the last minute!
I know that no one can available at the last minute all the time, but I guess what we’re looking for is to have a few different people we know and trust that we can call in those situations, and HOPEFULLY be able to watch him. If you’re not available, then no worries! But if you have some days that you may be open in a last minute situation and/or on the occasional date night, then I would love to chat!

A little bit about us

I am only needing someone to watch my kids every now and again. I can give at least a months notice. My son is in kindergarten but his school is right across the street so all you need to do is drive to my place and you can walk to drop him off and pick him up. My son is Evan he’s 5 and my daughter is Ellie she is 4. I would be providing all foods and supplies of course. I don’t expect any heavy duty house keeping. I have no pets and smoke free home.

Nanny/ Teacher Needed (Experience in Montessori is a plus, or willing to learn more about it & do research)

Start Date is Flexible: Mid-Late August!

Location: 83rd and Northern Avenue

Hours: Part-Time M-F (Shifts will be 4-5 hours long, likely 11am-3pm/4pm) 20-25 hours a week

Experience: CPR/AED Certified, Education related to Child development, Early Childhood Development, Child Psychology, etc. OR paid experience working with infant/toddler’s, Fingerprint Clearance Card

Job Duties: Mainly looking for someone who will engage my son in activities related to development throughout the shift (Gross-motor skills, reading books, playing outside, Montessori-based activities, arts and crafts). I will definitely have a lesson plan and schedule for him as well. I have a lot of fun ideas for age-appropriate play! No house chores, just picking up after baby after playing or eating. Preparing lunch or snacks would also be apart of the duties :)

About us: Our son will be 14-15 months old during the start time. He is super energetic, playful, loves being outside, reading books, and is a sweetheart. My fiancé works during lunch hours and night shifts, and I work remotely from home, but I will be in the room working the whole shift, so it would be you and baby for the beginning of the shift and then towards the end my fiancé gets back but he will be busy with work in our office as well or doing things around the house as needed.

For Nanny Share Family: My fiancé and I are willing to host at our home (gated community, fenced in pool, large outdoor backyard, and playroom).
