A little bit about us…

My husband and I are looking for a caring, energetic, and patient, part-time caregiver for our 18 month old Addison in Norwalk, CT! Addison recently had surgery for hip dysplasia so we would really appreciate having someone who has experience caring for a child with special needs (she'll be in a spica cast until the end of July), or someone patient and willing to learn! Addison has an incredibly warm demeanor, loves to explore and spend time outside, and adores dogs!

To start, schedule would most likely include the following: half or full days Mondays, Tuesdays and / or Wednesdays 8am-4pm, and half or full days Fridays. There may be a shift in schedule as we approach preschool this fall. We are looking for someone to start ASAP and can absolutely discuss the schedule if it doesn't exactly match availability.

Responsibilities would include basic care (playing with Addie, bathing her, taking walks, preparing simple meals, changing diapers, occasionally her folding laundry and loading the dishwasher; we also have memberships to local museums and the aquarium so may ask you to accompany her there once in awhile; in the fall we may ask for support with pick up / drop off at preschool).

We have a rescue dog who is sweet, but very anxious who will be in the home but would be separate. We would love to have someone who is patient and understanding with animals.

My husband will be home working remotely all days, and I will be home working remotely Mondays and Fridays but working in the city Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Thank you!
