A little bit about us

We are two professionals with 3 energetic kids (2, 5.5, and 7.5), looking for reliable and fun help for after-school care. We would like to find someone 1-3 days/week from about 3-7 PM. We can be flexible on days of the week and specific times, as long as planned in advance!

Responsibilities will include:
• School/daycare pickups & driving to activities
• Playing outside—my kids loooove trampoline time & active play
• Library trips, dinosaurs/truck pretend play & arts & crafts
• Snacks, homework support & routines
• Cooking meals for kids
• Light household help or errands as needed

Looking for someone:
• Reliable car & clean driving record
• Prior childcare experience (multiple kids preferred)
• Dependable, organized & proactive (my kids love screens but we try to keep them off screens, and that can take some extra creativity from a sitter! :))
• Non-smoker
• Preference to those with an OT/special needs background for neurodivergent kids (specifically ADHD with emotional dysregulation); willing to pay more for such experience

Also, if it is a good fit, there is an option to extend into the summer!

A little bit about us

We are first time parents living in Towson. We both work full time jobs currently and are assessing what our lives will look like as we enter parenthood! We currently have two large dogs who have been our fur children up until this point. They are both older, very sweet and we have trusted dog walkers/sitters to walk and look after them when needed. We may only require feeding or refilling of water bowls. At the moment, we are expecting in November of this year and considering childcare options for early spring 2025. We will need anywhere from 3-5 days per week depending on budgeting and if we have any additional help from family on certain days. We'd like to get started on this search early so we can secure the right care for our new family.
