Schedule & Duties:
Fridays – Pick my sons up from school, help them wind down from the week, prepare dinner, and get them ready for bed. Overnight care is not required on Fridays.
Saturdays – Arrive around 4:00 PM and stay until approximately 9:00 AM Sunday morning. Overnight care may not always be required, but the option to stay will be available for safety reasons if I return home late.
Care will take place in my home in a safe and comfortable environment.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage the children in fun, safe, and age-appropriate activities (educational play, games, crafts, etc.)
Prepare light meals and snacks
Assist with homework when needed
Ensure a safe, clean, and nurturing environment
Provide school pick-up on Fridays and occasional transportation to activities (car required)
Requirements:
Previous babysitting or childcare experience (references preferred)
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (If you do not have a car or license please let me know I can still work with you.)
Punctual, responsible, and dependable
Patient, caring, and able to follow family routines
Comfortable working occasional overnights

We are seeking a warm, energetic, and outdoorsy live-in nanny to care for our cheerful 15-month-old son as we return to work and travel. We want someone who will become a true extension of our family - providing loving care while supporting his growth, learning, and development over the long term (1+ years).
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Full-time care for our outdoors-loving toddler, including daily park visits, hikes, library trips, museums, and outdoor play

- Reading, educational activities, and intentional teaching to help him reach developmental milestones and build strong early learning foundations as he grows
- Light housework (child-related tidying [laundry, toys, packing, etc.], meal-prep, light community chores)
- Occasional family travel (~10%)
**What We Offer:**
- Private bedroom and full guest bathroom in our North Raleigh home (20 min from downtown & RDU airport, near falls lake)
- Salary/package: $625 per week for 45 hours; room & board, food, and all utilities included
- 10 days PTO/year, 6 paid holidays, 3 sick days, and holiday bonus
- Dedicated car for daily outings with baby
- Relocation if needed

- Experience with toddlers and a passion for child development
- Positive, patient, nurturing, and teaching-oriented mindset
- Active and outdoorsy with a love for the outdoors
- We have a friendly 40 lb dog, so comfort with dogs is important.

Days will be Monday,Tuesday, Friday for the first week and the next week it will be Wednesday’s and Thursday’s. 3 days one week and two days the next week it will continue to alternate. The time will be 6:30PM to 10:00PM. Expectations will be to come to our home and watch our babygirl until Mom gets home from work (I get off at 9:00PM). We would love if education is brought into the mix.. Her education is a very important aspect to us. We ask of 30mins to an hr of flash cards. Make sure diapers are changed, Milk is given when wanted, occasional snacks. Watch Ms.Rachel, any kid friendly movies. Play with her toys with her she’s very playful. (We do have a furbaby that will be put up during the hours of watching Ryleigh.)
