A little bit about us

We are looking for an energetic, creative, and flexible caregiver for after school with our twins. The twins are starting 1st grade this fall at PS10 and are super active and curious kids. Regular after school activities include gymnastics, dance class, swim class, and maybe music lessons. They are learning to ride their bikes, love to make up games and pretend, absorb information around them like sponges, and give big hugs!
We are looking for someone who can pick up from school, get the twins to scheduled afternoon activities, make sure homework gets done, coordinate play dates and adventures of your own, and get them ready to calm down for dinner and bedtime at the end of the day. The twins are in school full time so the afternoons are for fun but also sometimes quiet time when they need to rest and recharge.
25 hours a week are guaranteed but there is the opportunity for additional hours on school breaks and summer vacation. We look forward to building a long term collaborative relationship that evolves as the twins grow and develop.

Looking for an experienced, reliable, loving nanny to take care of our 15 month old daughter! Spanish-speaking a plus. Our daughter loves to read, is an adventurous eater, and is happiest playing outside (anywhere she can spot a friendly dog!).

We're located in Park Slope near Prospect Park and work a hybrid schedule (in-office 1-2 days per week). Hoping for a caregiver with 5+ years of infant and toddler experience, especially with multiples, as we're looking to have another baby within the next year.

Hours would be flexible but discussed in advance, similar to the below:
M 9-5:30
T 9-6
W 9-6 or 5:30
R 9-5
F 9-4 or 5

Our ideal candidate would be comfortable with the below responsibilities: playtime in the park, scheduling play dates, baby's laundry, feeding, tidying after meal-times, light meal-prep, tidying baby's room.

A little bit about us

I'm the co-founder of a public affairs company and my husband is training as a software engineer. We both work from home, although I go into the office once a week. I have a pretty intense job, and manage a staff of 6, along with my business partner. I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant, due August 30th, and plan to take off for four months once the baby is born. But I'd like to return to work in January 2024 and we'll need help with child care at that point. I really don't know what we'll need exactly, but that's why I'm starting the process now to understand our options and also get good recommendations from people with more experience.

Need someone part time from 3-8 4 days a week. Typical day would be picking up our eldest daughter from school. Walking her home. Assisting with child care, home tidying, and meal prep. We would characterize the role as a blend of a child-care provider and a house assistant.

We also have a weekend home on the North Fork of long island which we use frequently in the summer. We would provide bonus hours on weekends (if interested) to help out in a similar capacity. If the nanny/house assistant elected to participate in this, food and lodging would be provided.
