A little bit about us

We are a healthcare family seeking a reliable, warm, proactive nanny Monday-Friday. This role includes household support and childcare for our daughter. The schedule is 1 PM to 6:30 PM (occasionally 7 PM). Household tasks are done before pickup at 3p in Lynbrook. You will be paid for the full scheduled hours on all days you work, even if you leave early. Some days may not require care if a parent is home; on those days you will have the day off and will not be scheduled/paid.

Childcare includes picking her up at 3 PM, driving to occasional activities, bringing her home, serving dinner (provided), and supporting her evening routine. We maintain a calm, screen free environment and follow respectful, evidence based parenting.

Our parenting approach is Montessori informed, respectful, evidence based, and aligned with true gentle parenting. (clear boundaries, respectful communication, emotional regulation support, independence). Gentle parenting is not permissive; we need someone who understands the difference and can uphold warm, firm, developmentally appropriate limits.

Household support from 1 PM to 3 PM includes light organizing, tidying, folding laundry, restocking items, running small errands, and tasks that reduce the mental load.

We value initiative and someone who understands the invisible load of managing a home and child. This means noticing what needs attention without step by step instructions. Examples include resetting a space after use, tidying the lunchbox area after unpacking, or anticipating small needs before they become problems. We are not looking for perfection, just good judgment and common sense.

Requirements: clean driving record, reliable transportation, comfort driving between Lynbrook and St. Albans, and willingness to complete a background check. CPR training can be provided. Compensation is 20 to 25 dollars per hour with a guaranteed daily minimum and pay for full scheduled hours on days you work. A two week trial ensures a good fit.

A little bit about us

Our baby girl was born in May 2024 and we are looking for part-time help to assist my wife and I. We both work corporate hours, 9-5/6pm and have occasional travel.

Our ideal nanny is someone who is organized and willing to help with things around the apartment, occasional cooking and open to weekend work once in a while.

We enjoy cooking, reading and dancing to good music in our tiny apartment, so we hope our nanny can enjoy our energy when we're not busy working.

We prefer our nanny play an active role in our child's learning, so we hope that they enjoy reading, coloring, playing with the child.

We also prefer our nanny be at least conversational in Spanish.

We do own a dog who is a little older, but is fully trained and very relaxed.

A little bit about us

Hello everyone.
I'm looking for a part-time nanny who can start at the beginning of March as I am returning to work and school. I'm located in Astoria, 36th street and 24th avenue, 7 min walk from Astoria train station. I have a 15-week-old baby boy, he will be 5 months once you get to meet him. Duties include daily care of an infant, feeding, playing, reading, singing, putting him for naps, and washing baby bottles. Hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 10am - 3pm for now but may add more days/hours as time goes on.
I'm looking for someone who loves dogs, 5+ years of experience with caring for infants, is punctual, responsible, respectful, and kind. My husband and I are fun people, so feel free to chit-chat and have coffee with us and become a special person in our baby's life.
We are looking for an English speaker; Italian and Korean are a plus plus but not required. Please have some references to share.
Thank you in advance.
