A little bit about us
We are looking for someone to provide in-home care from 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday. We are looking for someone to take care of him while mom and dad work. Note, Dad works from home and Mom works downtown. No expectations outside of caring for the child and some light housework duties. Additionally, as we did with our previous nanny, we always provide additional opportunities for babysitting on the weekend for date-nights, but there is no expectation that you must work those days, we just provide you the first right of refusal in case you want additional hours/pay.
We are a laid back and easy going couple looking for some weekday help taking care of our kids.
The ideal candidate would have previous childcare experience and prove to be reliable, as our work schedules tend to be inflexible, at times. The nanny starting in August will also be expected to do pre-school pickup twice per week for our oldest child, which is a short commute from our house.

A little bit about us
We have a 10-year-old neurotypical daughter, and a 6-year-old son with special needs. His special needs include an autism diagnosis that shows itself through significant speech and OT delays, as well as trouble with regulation when he is overwhelmed. Otherwise, he is a ruthless flirt-er who enjoys school, dancing, running, swimming, jumping on the trampoline, playing on playground equipment, working hard, and trying new things. Our daughter is a natural athlete who also loves school, her friends, riding her bike, swimming, reading, and helping out around the house. I work outside the home, and my husband works from home most days.
Please let us know if you might be interested in learning more about us. We are a very open and honest family and look forward to answering any questions you have. Thank you!
*1. We are looking because our son will be going to all-day school next year. Therefore, our needs have changed, and the time has come for our nanny of two years to advance professionally. While this is a very hard time for us, preparing not to see her every day, we know she'll remain a part of our extended family. Fortunately, we all love making new connections and are embracing this new chapter.
2. Our daughter will be participating in a summer sports camp throughout June, and our son will be participating in the District's "extended school year." Therefore, there will be some weeks where work times will vary.
