Hello, we’re the Duncan Family! We are a family of 4 living in Arlington, VA. We have two boys named Joey (6) and Henry (3), and a husky named Ranger. Joey is in First grade (he has an IEP for ADHD) and Henry attends pre-k half days. Now that the boys are older, and summer is approaching, our ideal nanny would be someone who loves to play outside/take walks to the park, visit museums, the zoo and aquariums, story time at the library, etc. We would also like someone with a flexible schedule that can babysit on weekends or for an occasional date night. We are hoping with the right fit, this will be a long-term position.

Work details (hours, benefits, pay):
Full-Time, M - F 8:30AM - 4:30PM
$26/hour via payroll
Two weeks paid vacation, 5 sick days, paid holidays include; MLK Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and day after, Christmas and week after, New Years Day.

Requirements:
First Aid/CPR certified
Familiar with Early Childhood Education/Development
Experience with children diagnosed with ADHD and Autism (not required but appreciated)
Vaccinations up to date
At Least 5 years experience with children 18mo and up
Drivers license and car to take kids to and from outings (will reimburse for gas)
Must submit to background check

Part-time Nanny Needed For 3 Children In Arlington
Arlington family needs a part-time nanny. Must love kids! Our ideal match will meet the requirements below. We do have pets, so please consider that when applying.

We need someone to look after our kids between the hours of 8am-3 p.m. Monday-Wednesday. The hours on Thursday and Friday are flexible. The job willl be primarily caring for my 2-year-old son. Our 5 year is currently at home taking an online class for 2 hours from 8-10am, but in September she will be starting Kindergarten. Our 6-year-old is in school from 9am-2:20 p.m. Parents drive the children to and from school.

We have a young Labrador Retriever so being comfortable with dogs is a must. Nanny will be giving the kids breakfast and lunch but cooking will not be involved (At most, microwaving). Other duties will include encouraging the children to clean up.
