A little bit about us

I have twin boys who are 7 years old and am a single mother. I have a very busy career as a Nurse Practitioner and I need help with transportation of boys to their school and programs as well as help after school until around 6pm. would love additional help for outings/parks/pool etc but most important is the need for availability weekdays so that I can work but do that my sweet boys can get the attention they need until mommy gets home around 530pm. You will usually always have at least one helper with you. Looking for nanny option on a schedule or even live-in nanny options if the right fit.
My boys are very active and loving. They need someone who does not like to just sit around or stay on their phone. I would love someone to be energetic, engaging and fun with them while mommy has to work. We can discuss details of hours weekly if you are interested. flexible with adding more hours if you can at least commit to the weekday work hours I need you. Which would typically be every weekday 3-6 pm or 3 to 7pm. Would always have more hours available to help me on weekends or the days school or their programming is closed.

Types of Nanny Jobs and Nanny Responsibilities in Vermont

Before you start looking for a nanny job, it's essential to learn about the different types of nannies and how they compare to each other so that you make sure you’re looking for the right opportunities.

The different types of nanny jobs have different nanny responsibilities. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. However, in general, a nanny is responsible for making sure the children's needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to make sure your expectations are aligned with the family.

There are temporary nanny jobs, even seasonal nanny jobs like summer nanny jobs. Beyond seasonal and temporary nanny positions, there are differences between full-time and part-time nanny jobs. The primary difference being the number of hours you spend at your nanny job every week. For full-time nannies, there are options for live in nanny positions and live-out positions in Vermont. Live-out positions are more common, but each family has their own set of needs that require different types of care, and live in nanny positions can be exactly what some families want. If you're looking to explore live in nanny positions, it's even more important to create a shared set of expectations around hours, responsibilities, and what is expected of you when you're not on the clock.

If you're exploring other types of jobs beyond nanny positions, consider looking into cleaning jobs, pet sitting jobs, luxury fashion jobs, or elder care jobs.
