Coming from a large family, I have a lot of experience with children of all ages. My most enjoyable family I worked with over a year ago, changed my life. Their first child was my responsibility, and I pretty much raised him since he was just 3 months old for about a year and a half. Basically I was an around the clock "mother" for the child while his parents (terrific couple) worked hard. Did everything from naps, preparing and feeding him food/bottles, diaper changes, baths, packing him for travel, traveling with him, walks, teaching him new things, going to the park, loving him, even doctor visits... I've also had much experience with other children- about 1/3 of my neighborhood used to have me take care of their children... Ages ranging from infants-12 years old. I also am very active in my nieces life, since the time she was born til now (she's now 11), having her stay at my house almost every weekend... sometimes more. I'm naturally good with children, want quite a few of my own someday. A babies cry doesn't freak me out, I usually can figure out the problem with haste. Poop explosions aren't my favorite, but I'm not afraid to get in there and clean it up- fast! I understand cleanliness is a large factor in a child's development- washing hands, clean diapers, sanitizing everything, watching out for sharp corners, small objects, too much television, obscene anything, educational importance, nap time; not too early, nor too late, healthy snacks, keeping children on a schedule, etc. Any other questions don't hesitate to ask!
