A little bit about me
Before having my kids I cared for my nieces and nephew through the years!
I am from Conroe just moved to Waco recently. I am CPR, First Aid and AED certified in both adult and pediatric. I am also a former pediatric RDA.
Before moving to Waco I owned a cleaning company, therefore I do not mind any housework if needed. My oldest daughter did virtual learning as well so I have experience with that also.

A little bit about me
In addition, I worked at an early learning center (6 wks to 5 years) for 10 years. I loved every minute of it! I am also a bonus momma of four amazing kiddos. Needless to say, I have ample amount to experience to put your mind at ease. More about me-I am a Christian, so I hold true to conservative values.
If you are a homeschooling momma (or dad!), have a child that needs extra tutoring, or would just like your child to be exposed to numerous learning opportunities- look no further!

A little bit about me
I currently am a server and have been for a little over 4 years, I’m moving to the Conroe area soon and I’m looking to change things up a bit. I currently have no paid childcare experience but I’m a proud auntie and look after the little ones any chance I get. I know this will definitely be a learning experience for me but I know I will learn quickly as I’m already great with children. I definitely would have a more hands on approach and would always prefer going to the park or playing pretend over tv and phones. I was great at school and would be a fantastic help with homework, I could do light housework and anything else you may need. I also love pets. Dogs, cats, exotics, I love them all and I even have two cats of my own. I’m currently in school online for coding and web development. Apart from that my hobbies are crocheting, cooking, and painting. If you think I would be a good fit for you and your family don’t hesitate to reach out to set up a time to meet!

Understand Nanny Responsibilities in Montgomery, TX
Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.
Montgomery Nanny Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a nanny?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
- What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
- Are you open to a live in arrangement in Montgomery? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
- Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Montgomery?
- Do you have a driver’s license in TX? Do you own a car?
- What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
- What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! And of course, as you learn how to hire a nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
Daycare vs. Hiring a Nanny
Choosing between putting your child in daycare and hiring a nanny can be a tough decision. While nannies are often more expensive, they provide individualized attention and flexibility. Daycares, on the other hand, prioritize socialization. Our Nanny vs Daycare guide can help you determine what's best for your family.
