A little bit about me…

I have experience not only working as a nanny or babysitter but in a daycare and at a summer camp. I enjoy spending time with children and accompanying them through their world of exploration and wonder. I have experience not only with toddlers but with children who are school age and teenagers. My most recent experience has been with families and youth that have behavioral and emotional difficulties.

A little bit about me…

I started my nanny career watching a 5-month-old boy, had the opportunity to work in the infant/toddler room, and recently worked for a family, watching their now 3.5-year-old daughter and 1.5-year-old son, for over a year. I was fortunate enough to care for a loving 2-month-old boy for this past year. I love working with children of all ages, but have more experience in infancy/toddler-hood. I am extremely passionate about aiding in the overall unique developmental growth of every child I work with! I enjoy reading, along with arts and crafts, and believe in creative imagination! I am currently getting my BA in Elementary Education via an online school, which allows my schedule to be very flexible. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I would love the opportunity to work with your family!

A little bit about me…

Aside from the occasional sitting for family and friends, I've been a nanny since I was 17 (I am now 23). I started with this family when the youngest was 2. I would get off the bus at their house and take care of her for a few hours. It was more like a play date rather than a job! I stayed with this family until 2009 when I moved from Maine to Connecticut. At some points it was full time and at other times it was part time. From being with this family for so long I was like part of the family and ended up occasionally sitting for other family members or even taking them during the day with the 4 girls I was nannying for. In addition to caring for the children, I was responsible for driving them to and from pre-school, school, and any extracurricular activities. Since living in Connecticut I have had one babysitting job that was reoccurring weekly and some occasional babysitting jobs for friends.
