Caleb was diagnosed with autism at 18 months of age, he has mild symptoms- mainly a delay in language, but otherwise is a very social and silly boy that has met all his other milestones. He goes to ABA therapy M-F 9-4:30, but there have been a few instances when they call to tell us that his therapist is out and they don’t have a fill in, which leaves me without child care at the last minute!
I know that no one can available at the last minute all the time, but I guess what we’re looking for is to have a few different people we know and trust that we can call in those situations, and HOPEFULLY be able to watch him. If you’re not available, then no worries! But if you have some days that you may be open in a last minute situation and/or on the occasional date night, then I would love to chat!

Also have 3 dogs that need to be fed and let out.
Our sons name is Johnny and he is a sweet 7 year old boy who has a developmental disability that affects his expressive speech, feeding, dressing, toileting. He only eats puréed food and pediasure. He loves having books read to him and anything music related.
Our daughter Addison is 7 and in 2nd grade. She is a sweet kid who would love the attention from an older adult that is not her parents lol. If we could find someone to help with any homework and just hanging with her.

Elijah is 2 years old, and Gabriel is 3 years old. Both boys are non-verbal and have special needs. Gabriel is Autistic and uses ASL and partial words as his form of communication and Elijah will guide you, or give you items he needs help with. Both boys also have eczema and may require Aquaphor to help with the dry patches.
Elijah is a sweet boy who loves to giggle, swing, rock in his rocking chair and play with his toys. His favorite toys are his yoga ball, cars, and sensory activity center. Gabriel is super energetic, loves dinosaurs, cars, dancing, and playing with his toys. His favorites are his dinosaurs and his lightning McQueen cars.
Gabriel goes to ABA Monday-Friday. So most of the job is spent with Elijah; you would be in charge of playtime, snack time, nap time, and lunch. As well as diaper changes. He is very sensory seeking and may need redirection when trying to put things in his mouth that are non-edibles. He also needs redirection when rocking in the chair, as sometimes he does this a little too hard.
Both boys would only be present on Saturday. Gabriel will need to be redirected when Elijah has gone down for a nap, as he tries to wake him up.
My husband is home during the day if he is needed, however, he works nights and will be sleeping.
