Be calm, observant, and responsive to sensory preferences (proprioceptive, vestibular, and oral input).

Use play-based learning, creative exploration, and co-regulation techniques to support communication and emotional development.

Be trauma-informed and respectful of a child's boundaries and unique pacing.

Communicate clearly with parents and collaborate with therapists or specialists as needed.

Duties include:

Engaging in sensory-rich play and calm, structured routines.

Supporting expressive communication and emotional regulation through daily activities.

Providing attentive supervision at home.

Light meal prep/snack support with attention to sensory preferences.
