A little bit about us…

We have a very fun loving 6 year-old daughter who loves to jump on her trampoline and play make-believe games such as “sisters” and “doctors”. She has been diagnosed with having some Sensory-based Motor Disorders: (Vestibular/Postural Disorder) for which we have been going to OT weekly to help strengthen her core and motor skills.

Mackenzie prefers fantasy games, sedentary activities, not too much active play like riding a bike or going on her scooter. She sometimes has difficulty with physical endurance especially in competitive games and gives up when challenged physically (and often cognitively).

She really wants to learn how to do a cartwheel and maybe do gymnastics or find a ballet class. She gets easily embarrassed around kids her same age that can do certain activities which she understands how to do them but has a hard time understanding how to get her body to move in a certain way to make the actual movement.

Ideal candidate will be familiar with Growth Mindset principles and communication styles.

We are looking for a nanny who is gentle, kind, loving, fun spirited, and patient that can grow with us and really become an extension of our family.
