A little bit about us
We need 35-40 hrs a week in summer. During fall and winter 2x a week for 12 hours along with fall, winter, and spring school breaks.
Our sons are 11 and 6. Very sweet boys and well behaved. Not to say they don’t try to test the waters. Our older son has medical needs, anaphylactic food allergies along with a couple of other medical conditions that are managed with oral meds and eating all his food. Otherwise a typical 11 year old boy. We require someone who is up to date with CPR, First Aid should an emergency arise. We do have a dog who is also sweet.
Tasks-
Assisting with homework and lessons. (Mainly PT for core strength and OT for fine motor)
Prepping meals. Ensuring sufficient calories for our older son.
Ensure all vitamins and meds are taken.
Ensuring the boys make their beds and clean their rooms before play time.
Watching/swimming with them.
No pickup or drop offs required.

A little bit about us
-during the week- (flexible days/hours but hope to be consistent week-week)to assist with managing the typical every day maintenance like laundry, dishes, food and sundries rotation, light cooking, opening and putting away supply deliveries (Amazon prime mostly), and general organization;
-and on weekends- (7am-12pm- could leave at 10am-neg) caring for our youngest son with Down syndrome until the daytime caregiver comes in (at 10am-leaving time to complete anything around the house that needs finishing). We are hoping for a self starter who can arrive
-on weekdays- and get started with routine tasks and also be willing to help with list items as they come up (ex: please organize the utensil drawer, it’s gotten out of hand! Or pretty please wipe out the soda fridge bc a can leaked and we tried but didn’t quite clean it well enough) and
-on weekends- to help our 9yo when he wakes with going to the bathroom, getting breakfast, taking his medicine and getting dressed for the day. He has Down syndrome so his development is delayed, but he communicates and ambulates well. He makes up for his delays with an abundance of joy and love of running with no fear! Our oldest son (who graduates from high school this year!) has a genetic disorder that presents as addhd, autism, and coordination delay. Our 16yo daughter is super spunky, beautiful, brilliant and helpful when she wants to be! During the week perhaps help with a snack when they get home would be great, but otherwise no extra “nanny” care for them is warranted.
