A little bit about us
Working with guidance from Mary and Stephen Camarata, speech-language pathologists with extensive experience in child development, learning, and supporting children with ASD.
Hello,
My name is Mary Camarata, and I’m reaching out on behalf of a wonderful family in the Park City area. We are seeking an after-school, in-home tutor for their 8-year-old son, Oliver, approximately 2–3 afternoons per week for about an hour each session.
I am a speech-language pathologist who works with Oliver and his family. My husband, Dr. Stephen Camarata, a professor at Vanderbilt University, and I have extensive experience working with children with developmental differences. Although we live in Nashville, we work with families across the country and help train and support tutors working directly with children in their homes.
We are looking for someone with some experience with children with special needs who is, most importantly, patient, sensitive, dependable, and genuinely enjoys working with children. I will provide training and stay in close contact with the tutor, so you will have ongoing guidance and support.
Oliver is a wonderful 8-year-old who enjoys being active, hiking, skiing, outdoor activities, and spending time with his family. He has a great team at school, and his home tutor will become another important part of that team, with all of us working together to support his learning and continued progress.
If this sounds like something you would enjoy, I would be happy to talk with you and answer any questions. Please call or text me at [phone number hidden], or send me your number, and I’ll be happy to contact you.
