My wife and I are in the process of finding a Personal Care Attendant for our almost 6-year-old daughter that is on a Medicaid waiver due to disabilities. We are looking for someone to work 40 hours per week in our home in Louisa County. This is what agency will pay for and the rate is $13/hr. that will be paid by the state through a Financial Management Service. You would be required to have reliable transportation and the ability and willingness to transport our daughter to appointments and school. Our daughter has several medical needs that you would be required to learn about and to be able to assist with during your Personal Care time.
