A little bit about me

Hi!
My name is Leah! I have been working in the childcare field for about 8 years now being a nanny, as well as a preschool teacher. When time allows, I also help my sisters with their children who’s ages range from 9 months-4 years old. I studied at Columbia College, with a focus in Music to become a Music Teacher, but childcare is truly my passion!

I love children’s curiosity about the environment they live in, as well as the different activities that they engage in daily. I’m a believer of letting children explore while playing, and them being independent learners.

I am currently a preschool teacher M-F, but I am looking to transition out of that position due to some unforeseen circumstances. Being a nanny is my first love and any chance I get to go back to that field, I am elated to do so!

A little bit about me

Hi there, family! My name is Kanyia and I am a psychology graduate, Registered Behavior Technician, and lifelong lover of working with kids. I have been in children’s spaces in some form since I was a teenager, from babysitting and daycare assistance to running summer camp programming and delivering clinical ABA therapy. I bring a developmental psychology lens to everything I do, which means I am not just keeping kids safe and entertained, I am constantly thinking about where they are in their growth, what they need to thrive, and how to make every interaction meaningful. I am creative, fun to work with as I specialize in play based learning, and highly organized!
