A little bit about me
I recently moved to the area from Brooklyn, NY and currently work full-time as a Client Care Manager for a home care agency. I’ve always been drawn to caregiving in all forms, and while I now work with older adults, I’ve spent over 10 years as a nanny, tutor, and travel caregiver for families.
I have a degree in Counseling and Human Services, and a real love for helping people feel safe, supported, and encouraged - especially kids! I’ve worked with children of all ages, including those with intellectual and developmental disabilities, and always aim to create a warm, engaging environment where they can thrive.
I’m reliable, fun, and bubbly, and I really enjoy getting to know each child’s unique personality. Whether it’s arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, or quiet reading time, I love finding ways to make the day special.
Looking forward to connecting and hopefully becoming a positive part of your family’s routine!

How to Hire a Traveling Nanny in Fort Myers, FL
Nanny Lane helps you find a traveling nanny in Fort Myers, FL who can join your family on trips.
We offer nanny services including background checks, Agency, and nanny payroll. Start by posting a profile with a job description, and soon you can start connecting with nannies who fit your family.
What Is a Traveling Nanny?
A traveling nanny, also called a travel nanny, goes on trips with your family to care for the children, whether it is a vacation, a business trip, or an extended stay. Some families need a nanny who travels regularly, and others only for the occasional trip.
Common Responsibilities of Traveling Nannies in Fort Myers, FL
On the road, a traveling nanny keeps the children's routines going, supervises play and meals, and helps with logistics such as airports, car rides, and hotel rooms. They may care for the children while parents work or attend events, and often work longer or less predictable days than at home.
What to Consider Before You Hire
Discuss how often you travel and for how long, who pays for the nanny's flights, accommodation, and meals, how hours and days off work on a trip, and whether the nanny needs a passport. Put the terms in a written agreement so there are no surprises. Nannies with a valid passport and a flexible schedule are the best fit for frequent travel.
Traveling Nanny Interview Questions
Once you find a promising candidate, invite them for an interview to see if they would be a great fit for your family. Here are some questions you can ask:
- Are you comfortable traveling, including internationally, and do you have a valid passport?
- How much notice do you need for a trip?
- Have you cared for children while traveling before?
- How would you keep routines going in a hotel or an unfamiliar place?
- How do you handle hours, days off, and expenses on the road?
At this stage, request their references and ask their references some questions. After preparing the job offer or contract, we recommend that you run a background check before the start date.
