Sample Nanny Share Contract Between Nanny and Families

While most families want to create a casual relationship with the person caring for their children, it’s very important to create clear lines of communication with as much information in writing as possible.

Both families should create a nanny contract, leaving your new nanny with time to review it and the freedom to ask questions and adjust it as needed.

The same is true for your family-family contract. This document will help you create rules together so you know what to do if you hit a curveball.

Both of these contracts are working documents and should be adjusted as you see fit.

This is a formal document that both families and your nanny should sign to make sure all job requirements, expectations for paid time off, and termination rights are communicated. Have everyone fill out the sections below and then have each party sign.

Provide insight on how vacation schedules will be determined between the families and nanny. For example, nanny chooses her 2+ weeks of vacation by x date and the families work around it; families choose one week of vacation they will be away and the nanny chooses one week of vacation; families will determine all vacation weeks)

We will conduct a 90-day, 6 month, and 12 month review. At the 12-month review time, a raise of ____% will be considered.

Termination Policy
