Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Recently, I finished my four month nannying for a 6-year-old child, traveled with the family in-state and out of state, worked Monday through Sunday part time and full time, and rotated shifts with another nanny. I also just finished occasional babysitting for an 8 month old. I have over 10 years of dedicated childcare experience, I've had the joy of working as a full-time nanny for one family from infancy through age 5, and I continued to care for the same child as a vacation babysitter from ages 8 to 11. I also provide multiple overnight vacation care for male teens (ages 14, 16, and 20), and I previously worked as a foster parent, offering 24/7 therapeutic behavioral support to female children ages 10, 14, 15, and 17.

I connect with each child by their interests and then I build activities around what they enjoy. I don’t just watch the children, I actively join in on the fun with them.
One kid (6) taught me new dance trends. Child (11) loved digital art and watching games on YouTube.
With my younger kids, I focused more on imagination and hands-on play. One kid loved “prison” theme Lego play. My character always ended up in jail. We could play for hours.
Another kid enjoyed drawing, so we spent time doing arts and crafts.
I also cared for older kids who loved video games. I would play with them, while also making sure we balanced screen time by scheduling breaks to go outside. For 17 -20-year-old, I babysat occasionally, I kept things more relaxed by going to free local events, spending time at home, or grabbing something to eat. I adapt easily to each child or adult’s age, personality, and interests, making sure they feel engaged, supported, and comfortable.
