One of my favorite moments as a nanny was helping a 3-year-old I cared for learn to tie their shoes. We turned it into a fun game with lots of encouragement, and seeing their excitement and pride when they mastered it was incredibly rewarding. Moments like that remind me how impactful and special it is to be part of a child’s growth and milestones.
