Activities I enjoy doing with children include teaching stretching and basic tumbling skills (if they are interested), playing games, watching movies, and singing together. As a cheerleader, I enjoy helping kids stay active while also making sure they’re having fun.

The most important part of being a nanny is earning the parents’ trust and building a good bond with the kids. Making sure they’re safe is always the priority, but I also think it’s important that they still have fun, get their schoolwork or chores done, and feel comfortable, supported, and cared for.
My experience with special needs children...
My experience with special needs children includes volunteering with the FEAT (Families for Effective Autism Treatment) autism program, where I assisted at events and worked with different groups of children with special needs. In addition, my older brother, who is two years older than me, has high-functioning autism, so I have grown up around and am very comfortable supporting children with diverse needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment is embracing the goofy side of babysitting. Although I haven’t officially nannied before, I love watching kids be themselves—happy, playful, and free-spirited. Being part of those genuine, joyful moments is my favorite part of caring for children.
