More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have over eight years of experience babysitting and spent two years as a dedicated nanny, providing attentive and nurturing care to children of all ages. Additionally, for the past two years, I have worked in the YMCA SAC program, supervising and engaging with kindergarten through 5th-grade students in a structured childcare setting. My experience has given me the skills to create fun and enriching activities, ensure a safe and supportive environment, and confidently care for multiple children at once. I’m passionate about fostering meaningful connections and supporting children's growth and development in every stage of their early years.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love engaging children in a variety of fun, creative, and educational activities that encourage their growth and development. Outdoor play is one of my favorites—I enjoy going on nature walks, visiting parks, playing tag, or organizing simple sports games to keep kids active and engaged. I also love arts and crafts, from painting and coloring to making fun DIY projects that let children express their creativity. Reading is another passion of mine, & I enjoy sharing stories, helping with early literacy skills, and making reading time interactive and exciting. Music and dance are great ways to have fun, so I often incorporate singing, dancing, & even simple instrument play into our day. I enjoy organizing sensory activities, puzzles, and hands-on learning experiences that encourage problem-solving and cognitive development. Most importantly, I strive to make every activity engaging, age-appropriate, and tailored to the child's interests while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The best part about being a nanny is the incredible bond I get to build with the children I care for. Watching them grow, learn, and develop their personalities while knowing I play a positive role in their lives is truly rewarding. I love being able to create a fun, nurturing environment where kids feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore their creativity. Whether it’s witnessing their excitement when they master a new skill, sharing laughter during a fun activity, or being a comforting presence during tough moments, every day brings something meaningful. Being a nanny isn’t just a job to me, it’s a passion, and I cherish the opportunity to make a lasting impact on a child’s life

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was when I helped a shy and reserved little boy come out of his shell. At the start, he was hesitant to engage in activities and often kept to himself. I noticed he had an interest in dinosaurs, so I planned a whole week of dinosaur-themed activities—reading books, creating dinosaur crafts, and even setting up a mini fossil dig in the backyard. Slowly, he started opening up, excitedly sharing facts and laughing as we played. By the end of my time with him, he was running up to me every morning, eager to start the day. Seeing his confidence grow and knowing I played a part in making him feel comfortable and happy was an incredibly rewarding experience that reminded me why I love working with children.
