A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Abigail Kann and I am currently pursuing a degree in education at Penn State. I have lived in State College my entire life and have been a babysitter a few times, but most of my experience has come from other opportunities throughout the years. I helped with the 4 and 5 year olds at Calvary Sports Camp for two separate years when I was in high school, I helped out in the toddler room when I was in middle school, I helped take care of my two baby cousins (including bottle feeding, diaper changing, and overnight care), I was a leader at Shaver's Creek Summer camp in 2019, and most recently I was a counselor at Outdoor School for fifth graders at an overnight camp through Penn State. I plan on working for SCASD's CEEL after-school program next semester. I love being around kids and finding fun things to fill the day with. My goal is to be able to babysit this summer as well as continue working my job at Wegmans. I hope you will consider me as a possible fit for your family!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I helped with the kids at church and lead small groups of children during a summer camp through Calvary. I also have experience through taking care of my two cousins when they were both <1 year old. I volunteered at Shaver's Creek Summer camp as a leader, was a counselor at Outdoor School sleep away camp for 5th graders through Penn State, and I just love kids overall :)

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being outside and inside so I would really be able to do anything with kids. I enjoy doing arts and crafts and making music.
