This was actually a moment I had as a teacher. One of my students had accidentally ripped some pages in his book during reading time and he came to ask me to fix it. I tried my best to fix it with tape and when I presented the fixed book to him he hugged my legs and said “You fixed it! Good job teacher!” That melted my heart immediately and really made me feel a sense of pride. Even though it was a simple task for me it was impressive to him and it reminded me to be appreciative of even the small accomplishments. How cute!
