My experience with special needs children...

Special needs children require more time and patience especially. It is always a learning experience dealing with a new child as every household is run differently. Also based on background of the family. I work thoroughly. I try not to rush through things but what the family needs as far as time frame I accommodate to ensure everyone is most comfortable with my services.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When they feel comfortable with me. That is the best time because they feel they can rely to requesting maybe a certain meal /snack or game to play. Even watch a cute movie or cartoon they enjoy. this is usually my favorite time with caring for children.
