A little bit about me

Hi!

My name is Adrienne Jones, and I am from Memphis, Tennessee. I have lived in Memphis my whole life, and am moving to the Chicago area in August of 2027 with my best friends!

I have been a nanny for the past 7 years to the sweetest, smartest kids ever! (there’s 7 of them! I’ve been doing a nanny share for two sisters, so I watch alllll the cousins together every day) In fact, when I started nannying for their families, there were only 4 kids between them! Being with their families has been an absolute honor and privilege. I owe most of everything I know about infants, toddlers, and big kids to the precious parents and those 7 (now big) kids!

Before working with these families, I taught at my church’s preschool, worked at a mom’s day out program, and babysat every chance I could. I have been so intrigued and encouraged by little minds for as long as I can remember!

I’m hoping to find another family (or families for a nanny share) to partner with, and make lifelong memories with!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been a volunteer in my churches’ childcare programming at every church I’ve been a member of in Memphis!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

walks, finger painting, scrapbooking, cooking, exploring, you name it! I love arts and crafts, and also love to read! The kids I currently nanny love a good library “field trip” to pick up books, or just read every weird, silly book we can find!! In the summers, we’ve had lemonade stands and zoo trips and splash pad/ pool days, which are their personal favorite days.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite memories from these families I currently nanny for, was when I found out that one of the moms was pregnant with twins!! I remember her youngest (at the time) showing me the sonogram, and we all stood there jumping and crying and laughing at the surprise and realization that TWO new babies would join the family!
