I received a mute child who was transferred from another class into mine. He started speaking out loud by the end of the first week because of how patient i was with him which made him feel comfortable i think. I remember hearing his voice for the first time and his laugh as well. it brought tears to my eyes. he was such a sweet boy too, Noah. I’ll never forget that! 🥰
