Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked in a day care in highschool and as a Camp counselor for one summer. I also worked as a caregiver for adults with special needs. I did a behavioral therapist rotational internship that allowed me to work with special needs children on a per diem basis while I was in school.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like doing puzzles, watching movies, playing with toys. When it gets warm I love taking them out to play at parks or pools. In the cooler months I like getting creative with what is around the house, like building forts or playing hide and seek to keep them engaged.

My experience with special needs children...
I spent about 6 years caring for my special needs cousin. His parents worked a lot and my days after school were free so when he was born I spent a lot of time with him, watching him grow and develop. He was diagnosed with Autism when he was a toddler and his was very severe so a lot of things were really hard for him. I spent a lot of time working through some of his frustrations with communicating and redirecting his behaviors which often became violent. Now he's 10 years old and he has had tremendous growth in those areas.
