I worked for the YMCA in their after school division as a Site Director for six months. Upon completion of the 2022-23 elementary school year, I moved to Denton, and thus resigned.

For indoor activities, age appropriate board games and card games are an awesome choice. They promote mental stimulation without the use of screens!

For outdoor activities, it would depend on the season. In the summer, water play—such as slip-n-slides and water balloons—make great outdoor entertainment. In the colder seasons, I prefer nature walks, featuring I Spy; kiddos still get some fresh air and exercise, as well as developing their exploratory habits in a safe manner.
