Looking for Friendly, Reliable Nanny ± 20-25 Hours/Week for private nanny or nanny share
About Us
We are a fun-loving couple in their early 30s with a beautiful, sweet 13-month-old boy and two small dogs who reside in Denton, TX. We would love to find a nanny who can stay with us for a year or more. We would greatly value someone with at least 2+ years of experience as a nanny, who can teach us a few parenting tricks along the way, and care for our son with love and patience. We understand the importance that a nanny will play in our son’s life and strive to provide a welcoming environment for our nanny to feel part of our family.
• Pay is negotiable depending on experience
• ± 20-25 Hours a week
• 4-5 days out of the week, for 4 hours a day
• Tentative schedule: 1:00-5:00PM MTWRF
• Must be comfortable around dogs
• Must have reliable transportation
• We will provide one $500 bonus at 6 months and one $1000 bonus at year of employment
Nanny Qualities and Skills Required
• 2 years of experience preferred
• Non-smoker
• Bilingual preferred but not required (English and Spanish)
• Organization skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• CPR and first-aid certification
• Pass a background check
• Flu and COVID vaccinated
• Assist with feeding (no cooking necessary, meals will be made by us in advance)
• Diaper changing
• Light cleaning, limited only to cleaning table and dishes that toddler used during his meals
• Open door for dogs (house trained) who need to go potty in our private fenced yard
• Take toddler to classes in nearby library
• Assist parents in learning plan, including reading to toddler, teaching new words, sensory games, and similar developmental activities
• Take son on walks
• Maintain constant, detailed communication with parents
• Planning activities and outings
• Follow nap schedule
