Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have experience baby sitting for families exclusively as well as being the director at a boys and girls club working with youth ages 5-17. I worked in the ABA field for two years, working with children ages 6-14.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading, coloring/drawing, walking, singing, board games, cooking/ baking, and creating educational programming that stimulates young minds.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Attending to the needs of each child and taking the time to understand each child as an individual. As well as creating a safe space for children to be themselves and flourish.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked in a program throughout each year of school that directly helped special needs students with their class work and with completing their daily after school, and ocassionally during school routines. I also am currently a director at a boys and girls club that serves children with various disabilities.
