I’m a 22 year old former foster kid. I grew up being moved from home to home, enduring endless changes and various circumstances. I know from experience what helps with adolescent comfortability. I know what it’s like to just want the adults around you to listen, understand, and truly care about your dreams and aspirations. Kids love being around me because I’m able to play with them at their level and really become engrossed in their little worlds. They also know I’m a safe adult, and they often feel comfortable enough to confide in me.
