I was nannying for a very nice couple and their son, 7, had autism. And he wasn't a big talker. Only talking to people he trusts and mostly his mom. I had been nannying with them for 6 months when he said hello to me for the first time. We were all excited and crying. I stayed with them for another 3 years and he very slowly began talking to me more and more. I still check in on them.

I know how to get kids to listen to me, even if they're being difficult or having a rough day, and I also have practice with helping multiple kids at once. Overall, I love working with children, and I would be an excellent nanny!
