I have been working with children ages ranging from 4 months - 12 years of age for almost 4 years now!(:

I currently work at all ages daycare/preschool, but would like to go back to school full time, I currently work full time, and having a 3 year old myself I would like to use any free time from school to take care of a few kiddos & of course be able to spend time with my own child!

I'm not looking for anything specific, but would love to stay in the Rohnert Park/Cotati/Petaluma area. As well as just fair treatment, and fair pay! I'm happy to be any assistance you need (:

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

My child care experience first started when I started working as a child care attendant at City Sports Club, in Petaluma. I was allowed to care for 12 children at a time, and ages ranged from 5 months to 12 years old. I have also worked in a daycare facility in Novato, primarily as a Teacher for the Pre K & 1st Grade room. At that job I worked with children ages 5-12, since other grades would join us at times. I have also worked as a preschool teacher assistant, working with the 2 year olds! Where I helped with potty training, resting, snack, and general safety. The head teacher would also let me lead circle time, art activities, and setting up science/math activities. At my current job I work as the lead teacher in the Preschool which are our 2-3 year olds (:

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Dancing, yoga/exercise, singing, arts and crafts, reading, & sports/outside play. If you have a garden, thats a bonus! I really try my best to focus on emotional development, health, independence, and confidence!

I can also Aide with helping them learn Spanish, if that's something you'd like for your child to learn. (:

The most important part about being a nanny...

As a Teacher I love making a difference in a child's life, it can seem so small, but so huge for them and their development. I also love to help parents, and think of ways to help them too. Parents need support, and I know not everyone has a village to rely on.

My experience with special needs children...

It’s somewhat limited, but open to new experiences! While I haven’t personally worked with special needs children one on one, I have worked with them in a group setting.
