In high school we did a fundraiser for children in need during Christmas, took the kids to target with a gift card to shop for whatever they wanted/needed. The little girl I had wasn’t feeling well after a while so I sat in the library and held her while she slept till mom came to pick her up.

I love doing arts and crafts with kids, I’ll let them draw on me so they don’t do it on themselves. I did soccer for a while so I can play and run around with them, take them to nearby parks ( if okay with parent/s) I can do some thinking games with them.

The most important part in being a nanny is making sure the baby/kid is safe, happy and having a good time. I want my kids to be excited about me coming to take care of them, and I want mom/dad to be comfortable leaving their babies with me.

The baby girl I was watching used her little light up Frozen microphone and told me she had to check my eyes, and then said they were dirty so to go wash them and then she checked my eyes again and said “ okay. I give you a shot . You okay, you okay. No hurt “ my heart melted!
