A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Alexa. I will be a junior at the University of Pittsburgh in the Fall. I absolutely love working with children, and hope to incorporate childcare into my summer while I am home from college.

I have over three years of experience as a gymnastics instructor, working with children ages 3–12, helping them build confidence, coordination, and a love for the sport. During the school year, I work at the University Child Development Center where I care for children ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old. This has given me hands-on experience with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, and has taught me a lot about child development and nurturing care.

I am responsible, punctual, attentive and genuinely love creating engaging environments for kids to grow. I am also happy to help with light household tasks, meal prep, and even pet care.
