The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is building a relationship rooted in trust, safety, respect, reliability, and genuine care for the work. A nanny should take the time to understand not only what the child or children need, but also what the family needs as a whole.
For me, each day should be purposeful, structured, and productive while still allowing children to learn, explore, and have fun. Nannying is so much more than simply watching children—it’s about being a consistent, dependable source of support and encouragement while helping children grow, develop, and thrive.
I also believe that caring for children means caring for the family and the community around them. It doesn’t take a village just to raise and care for children; it takes a village to care for one another. I would be honored to be a supportive and trusted part of that village for the families I work with.
