My favorite activities to do with children tend to be unique to each child- I love to see what ignites their specific creative thinking minds! I value time outdoors and believe some outside time should happen rain or shine. I also love reading with children and try to incorporate reading time in at least once per day, preferably more.

I love seeing my own words reflected in the kids I work with, especially when that reflection happens around problem solving. I loved when the three year old I was caring for got frustrated and instead of yelling at her little sister, she said "Sis... come here and sit with me. I'm not mad at you, I just want to talk to you about what happened." Watching her capacity for problem solving grow made my heart feel so full!
