Over the past five years, I’ve gained extensive experience in childcare, progressing from childcare centers to becoming a private nanny. For the past year and a half I’ve worked as a private nanny, starting in a share position and transitioning to providing personalized care that promotes cognitive, emotional, and social growth. I manage daily routines, meals, naps, and playtime while ensuring each child’s needs are met and maintaining open communication with parents. Before becoming a nanny, I spent 4 years working in childcare centers as a teacher and director. I taught children from infants to preschoolers, created age-appropriate curricula, and oversaw operations, including staff management, scheduling, and compliance with health and safety regulations. I also provided training and support to educators while maintaining a positive, nurturing environment.

I enjoy engaging children in fun and educational activities like arts and crafts, outdoor games (like tag, hide and seek, and nature walks), baking, reading, and building with blocks. I also love playing board games, doing simple science experiments, and having dance parties. I'm always looking for ways to spark creativity and learning in a playful, hands-on environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite moment as a nanny was when the children in was caring for asked another child to play at a playground. The child I cared for at the time was extremely shy and very cautious around other children. It took months of working with the child to help them get to a point they could interact with other peers. It not only is one of my favorite moments, but one I am extremely proud of.
