A little bit about me

Hi! I'm Alexandria (Alex) for short. I am moving to Cherry Hill late August/early September and looking for a new nanny family.

A little about me: I love being with family/friends, traveling, photography and sports. I also have a pet cat. I've nannied for over 10 years and have grown close to the families and children I've cared for. Besides nannying, I've worked in child welfare, group homes with teens/adults with developmental disabilities and I was a CNA for four years.

As a nanny, I'm energetic, fun, trustworthy and patient. I respect and follow guidelines and it's extremely important that the parents and I are a team/on the same page when it comes to raising their child(ren). I'm open to constructive criticism and love feedback. I am creative and make activities based on the age of the child along with trying to reach milestones. But most importantly, your children's safety and well-being is my number one priority.

I look forward to speaking with you!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Besides being a nanny for multiple families full time, I was a family support specialist (child protective services). I have also cared for adults with special needs at group homes. My job title was a direct support professional. Lastly, I was a CNA and worked in assisted living for the geriatric community.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Crafts, going to the park, library or local museums, sensory/imaginary play, reading, helping them reach milestones through creativity and music

The most important part about being a nanny...

As a nanny, it’s important to have good communication with the family. Being on the same page with the parents when it comes to the child’s routine and well being. I am open to constructive criticism as well and do my best to meet the needs of the family but the child most importantly so everyone benefits. Teamwork is key!
