Hi! My name is Alexia, I am a JMU student as a senio. I've worked at summer camps with children and I adore them! Im looking to be a night-time babysitter. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a babysitter when I was younger and I have also be a summer camp counselor for ages 4 to 13, and I did that for 4 years

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Taking them to a park (if there is one nearby)
Do crafts such as coloring, watching TV ( only shows that the parents allow), playing with any toys the children may have
I am also a big sports person so I can always help kids with sports performance. (My main sport is volleyball, I played for 10+ years, but I have also played soccer, basketball, tennis and more)

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing for me being a nanny is making sure I am helping not only the children but the parents too. If a child needs helps with school, I'm on it. If the parents need to get away for some small special event like an anniversary, I'm happy to help them.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with a program at JMU called empowerment3 and we helped children with special aid by creating a way that helps them

Example: I worked with a child who had difficulty with loud noises, so we put headphones on the child, while making food and the child did extraordinary!
