The important parts about being a nanny or babysitter is making the parents (plural or singular) feel safe that a stranger is around their kids alone. It's gaining their trust when they're away and making any child not only feel happy but safe and comfortable enough to let you in and be around if they were to see them on a daily basis.

The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite time when watching children is seeing them be comfortable around me and feeling safe. When they don't have to cry when mommy and daddy are gone because they have a comfort zone with me. Those are my favorite moments.
