I have worked as an aide for special needs children in kindergarten, I have worked as a teachers assistant in a toddler class and a preschool class. I have also babysat for relatives and family friends for infants and young children as well in the older age range.

Making the kids feel comfortable, happy and safe. Also, I would say developing a foundation of trust with the parents so that they feel comfortable and don't have to worry an ounce about the safety or general care for their child.
