A little bit about me

I am the married mother of 2 adult children and 2 sweet grandchildren. I have lived in the same home for over 30 years with my husband, children (one still at home), and various pets that currently includes goats.

I have been working in various childcare settings for 3 decades including the public school system as a special education para, a therapeutic preschool as a preschool teacher and a large daycare center as a toddler teacher. I enjoy books and music, but my favorite activities include art projects, mud play, play do and anything messy!

I believe childhood should be magical and carefree and I love to help facilitate that in the lives of children I work with.

I have always seen caring for children as a privilege, and I feel that it’s not something I ‘have’ to do but something I ‘get’ to do.
