More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have a diverse background in caring for children, including experience as a preschool teacher, nanny, babysitter, and children’s and youth ministry coordinator at church. As the oldest of four siblings, I’ve always been involved in helping my mom with my younger siblings, which has further fueled my passion for working with children. Caring for kids has always felt natural to me, and it’s something I’m deeply passionate about. I aspire to make it a lifelong career and continue creating positive, nurturing environments for children to thrive in.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in both indoor and outdoor activities that inspire creativity, learning, and physical activity. Indoors, I enjoy arts and crafts, where kids can express themselves through painting, building, and DIY projects. I also love reading stories and doing role-playing to boost imagination and language skills, along with puzzles and board games that promote problem-solving and teamwork.
Outdoors, I keep kids active with games like hide-and-seek, tag, and soccer, as well as nature walks and scavenger hunts. I believe in exploring the world around us, whether through observing wildlife, having a picnic, or simply enjoying time at the park. My goal is to create a well-rounded environment where children can grow, learn, and most importantly, have fun!

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment for children to grow and thrive.
I believe in building strong relationships based on trust, open communication, and respect, both with the children and their families. It’s important to not just provide care, but to foster a space where kids feel heard, valued, and encouraged to explore their curiosities, develop their skills, and build confidence.
Every day is an opportunity to inspire creativity, teach life skills, and offer a sense of security that allows children to develop emotionally, socially, and cognitively in a balanced, joyful way.

My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with special needs children in my role as a preschool teacher. I have worked with children who have a variety of developmental and learning challenges, including autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and speech delays. I focus on creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and capable of succeeding. I use individualized strategies to meet each child's unique needs, helping them grow socially, emotionally, and academically. My goal is always to foster a nurturing space that encourages their development and builds their confidence.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when a child I cared for had a breakthrough after weeks of working on their social skills. They were initially shy and hesitant to engage with others, but one day, I watched as they approached a new friend at the park, introduced themselves, and shared a toy without prompting. It was such a rewarding moment, seeing their growth and confidence. Moments like these remind me of the impact I can have in shaping a child’s development and the joy that comes with being part of their journey.
